\n\n Having no tests or a poorly thought-out testing strategy is a common\n reason why serverless projects fail in the real world.\n Think of all the hours you'd spend on manual testing and fixing flaky tests,\n or the time it'd take to troubleshoot critical bugs that creep into\n production because of missing tests.\n
\n\n Testing serverless architectures can be straightforward,\n with the right strategy.\n
\n\n Save yourself years of trial-and-error.\n Learn what works in a matter of hours.\n

\n\n I'm an\n \n AWS Serverless Hero.\n I have run production workloads on AWS since 2010 and have helped\n thousands of developers get up to speed with AWS and serverless.\n
\n\n I have been an architect and principal engineer with a variety of\n industries including banking, e-commerce, social networks, live streaming\n and mobile gaming. I have worked on systems that handle millions of\n concurrent users and process billions of events per day.\n
\n\n Nowadays, I work as an independent consultant and help clients go faster\n for less by adopting serverless. I have implemented many large serverless\n systems (see\n here,\n here,\n and\n here).\n
\n\n When I started my serverless journey in 2016, I had to figure everything out.\n I made lots of mistakes and I learnt from them.\n I have designed this course to teach you what works in hours and save you\n years of trial-and-error.\n

\n\n Yes I plan on maintaining this course. It is not a hands-on course\n and generally sticks to evergreen approaches for testing serverless\n architectures. As new tools and techniques become available, they'll\n be updated here.\n
\n\n This course is laser focused on testing serverless architectures, so\n we won't be covering the basics of services such as Lambda, API Gateway,\n AppSync and Step Functions. So if you're thinking about how to test\n your serverless architecture, then I assume you're already working with\n these technologies or at least have a working understanding of them.\n
\n\n This is brand new content recorded exclusively for this course. But\n there are overlaps with some of my other courses/workshops. For\n example, the \"Testing API Gateway APIs\" and \"Testing AppSync APIs\"\n chapters use the same evergreen approaches that I have covered in\n \n Production-Ready Serverless and\n \n AppSync Masterclass.\n Having said that, the rest of the course (e.g. testing Step Functions\n and Event-Driven Architectures) are brand new and have not been covered\n by any of my other contents.\n
\n\n Yes, you can. There is a free preview in each of the packages where\n you can access a number of lessons for free. Go to the bottom of the\n pricing section for the links to\n sign up for free preview.\n
